Enable or disable Databricks Assistant in the Community Edition.

Hello,

Good afternoon great people. I was following the step-by-step instructions to enable or disable Databricks Assistant in my Databricks Community Edition to enable the AI assistance. However, I couldn't find the option and was unable to enable it. Am I missing something? I appreciate your help.

Hi @kazinahian, 

1. Log in to your Databricks workspace using an account with workspace admin privileges¹.
2. Click on the “Admin Console” icon in the left-hand navigation menu (it looks like a gear)¹.
3. Click on the “Settings” tab in the Admin Console¹.
4. Scroll down to the “Notebook Assistant” section and click on the toggle switch to enable it.

If you’re still unable to enable it, you might need to check the “Feature enablement” tab in the acc...². In the “Partner-powered AI assistive features” section, select “Enabled” and then click "Save".
