One thing I’d add is that reproducibility also depends on keeping track of software versions over time. A test that behaves consistently today may produce different results after an application, dependency, or runtime update, even when the original code hasn’t changed. Keeping a simple record of the versions and configuration used for each test makes those changes much easier to trace.
