Hi All,
I want to remove Unity Catalog from Admin Console so that I need to navigate to manage account option but the option is not available in my Databricks workspace. Please help me to sort this issue by removing Unity Catalog.

Hi @faaiqsaheed12 ,
Ok, so you're using personal account. You need to have ogranizational account. Also notice, that to setup Unity Catalog you need to have global admin permission on EntraId tenant, so make sure that you or someone has such permission.
So what you can do, you can either use current account with global admins rights or create new user in your tenant and give that user temporarily global admistrator rights. Then log in as this new user and try again.

Hi @faaiqsaheed12 ,
Are you using Azure, AWS, GCP?

Hi Slash,
Thanks for helping me. I am using Azure Databricks.

Hi Slash,
The link you have given is not working for me. Attached screen shot for your reference.
In current Databricks UI the manage account option is not so that I couldn't able to go into account console. Attached screen shot for your reference.

Hi, Databricks community,
I am facing a similar issue where my email is registered in tenant ID and also the organization setup is complete in Azure dev-ops. I can see the manage account option under my workspace dropdown in azure databricks workspace, but when I try to go to that console: "There was an unexpected error connecting to Databricks. Wait a few seconds and try again. If the issue persists, contact your Databricks representative." -> "Selected user account does not exist in tenant 'Microsoft Services' and cannot access the application '2ff814a6-3304-4ab8-85cb-cd0e6f879c1d' in that tenant. The account needs to be added as an external user in the tenant first. Please use a different account." please advise...

Hi @strugglingwdata ,
A lot of people had similar issue lately. The solution from another thread:
"I have steps that should help many with this issue get connected again. I hit this on my personal Azure pay-as-you-go account where I now have to login as a different username to get to my Databricks Account.
In Azure Portal, go to Azure Entra ID resource and see which users exist. For me the admin user I normally log in with doesn't show exactly, instead a similar username with #ext# in it shows up.
If there is an #ext# user that is similar to what you log in as, go to portal.azure.com on a fresh browser session (such as incognito browsing) and try logging in with that full username (should include #ext#).
You may need to reset password to get logged in as this user.
After you get that working, go to Databricks Account login at accounts.azuredatabricks.net and login with the #EXT# email."

thanks slash. After the password reset, I logged in to the azure portal with the #EXT# user, and now databricks manage accounts are opening fine.
