Done with submission!
Over the past 2 months, I’ve been deep in 8 data migrations — each with its own set of challenges. One flawed approach we kept repeating was giving too broad privileges too early in the migration lifecycle — especially CREATE TABLE and ALL PRIVILEGES at the catalog level.

This seemed fine for dev speed... until we realized users were unintentionally dropping critical tables. 🚨

The aha moment came just 4 days ago when we traced this behavior and tightened down privileges — separating creation rights from modification/drop rights, and shifting from catalog-level to schema-level privilege scoping.

🎯 Lesson learned: Least privilege is not just a security principle — it's a migration stability strategy!

Would love to hear if anyone else has faced this — and how you handled it.
And yes... I'm here for the swag too 😄🔥
