Hi. We are in the process of becoming Databricks partner. We have a bunch of folks (Data Engineers + Data Scientists) who are getting certified as it's one of the milestones.

However there is no mention of Data Analyst certifications to be part of the partnership program, which is strange. I thought Databricks does provide a very popular and strong Data Analyst certifications. 

Can anyone clarify if my assumptions are correct?

Hi Surya,

Partner tiering criteria generally focus heavily on partners who can design, migrate and build infrastructure and pipelines (DE, AI, ML). As a result, Data Engineer (Associate/Professional), ML Engineer and similar credentials carry the core weight for tier progression.

Databricks indeed has an official Databricks Certified Data Analyst Associate certification. While it generally might not fulfill the core engineering count required for tier advancement, it can help in building overall rounded team shape for core project implementation along with other benefits. Requirements are constantly updated and it may be added at a later period.
