Official Certification Exam Retake Policy Announcement

In order to increase the security of our exams, we are enacting a compulsory 14-day interval when retaking an exam, in effect as of today, November 1, 2023. What does this mean? It means that if you do not pass an exam, you can still register for it again, but you must wait 14 days after your previous attempt to take it again. You can retake an exam as many times as you would like, provided there is a minimum 14-day gap between each session. For more information about Databricks Certifications, please review our Certification FAQ

@bahnasawy From our FAQ https://www.databricks.com/learn/certification/faq#certifications-scoring

You are welcome to reregister and retake the exam after 14 days. You can retake the exam as many times as you would like, but you have to wait 14 days between each take. Each attempt is charged at the same price as the original exam. Databricks does not issue free retake vouchers.

As Microsoft and AWS allow re-attempt. It would be really helpful if a chance is given to the user who  failed in their first attempt.

@sd7 I'll research that. In the meantime, you can get a discount by participating in Learning Festival which is happening now: https://community.databricks.com/t5/events/self-paced-learning-festival-09-january-30-january-2026/e...
