My Databricks Data Engineer Associate exam was suspended for the second time while taking it online. During this attempt, I had reached approximately question 40 out of 55. The only warning I received from the proctor was that my face was partially outside the camera frame. I immediately adjusted my position and continued taking the exam, but a short while later the exam was suspended.
I was not using any unauthorized materials, talking to anyone, or leaving my workstation. My only interaction with the proctor was the warning about my camera framing.
I have already contacted Databricks Certification Support and requested a manual review of the recording and proctor notes.
I'm hoping to hear from others who may have experienced something similar:
- Were you able to get the suspension overturned or receive another attempt?
- How long did support take to respond?
- Did support explain the exact reason for the suspension?
- If you took the exam again, did you switch to an in-person testing center or make changes to your setup?
I've invested a significant amount of time preparing for this certification, so I'm trying to understand what I can do differently and what I should expect from the review process.
Any advice or shared experiences would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
