Importing an existing Databricks Lakeflow Job into a Declarative Automation Bundle?
The missing piece is the DAB state file to track workspace objects by ID!
I wrote a practical walkthrough:
• Capture the current definition
• Generate and review the YAML
• Bind the resource key to the existing Job ID
• Plan before the first deployment
• Recover safely if the target or binding is wrong
The rule is simple: bind first, deploy second! 🎯
