Can I change the VMs IP address from dynamic to static on Azure without breaking anything?

Hello community;

I am using Databricks on Azure and I am curious to know the implications of changing the IP address of the underlying VM's from dynamic to static - that is, the IP addresses that the clusters get, I would just like them to always have the same publically facing IP addresses. The reason is that I need the IP address to be the same is that it will be communicating with a service that requires they whitelist my IP addresses for access.

Any insight would be greatly appreciated

The following solution might work :

2. Use NAT Gateway : https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/virtual-network/nat-gateway/nat-overview
