Hello,
I just started using Databricks community version for learning purposes.
I have been trying to create a cluster but the first time it failed asking me to retry or contact the support, and now it's just running forever.
What could be the problem?

Can you please check the cluster logs, in the Cluster page, there is a logs section, that should help throw some light.
Cluster Running Forever - it also could be resource availability issue or config, but ideally it should fail, again logs, can help here.

I've been trying again but I still face the same problem.

It is a container launch failure. Until the cluster starts, the cluster logs won't be generated.
We need to check it from the backend, which cloud is it? It is possible there may be an outage, but then the issue should get resolved. Have you been able to start the cluster before?

Is it possible to raise a support ticket from the workspace you are in, and the team can look into it. We need to look at the container logs to get an idea on what is going wrong.

Can you please perform one test, check on the cloud provider if you are able to start a node?
