Is your account Premium tier enabled? Also when your account was created?

Account was created in July 2024 and premium tier is enabled as i am using unity catalog. I get the error the below error when tried to enable predictive optimization on schema.
ErrorClass=INVALID_PARAMETER_VALUE.PREDICTIVE_OPTIMIZATION_DISABLED_CONSTRAINT] Cannot set predictive optimization field because predictive optimization is disabled on the metastore.

So just to confirm the field shows in the Account Console, but it shows as disabled, if you change it to enabled it fails and get back to disable mode?

Can you share with me the workspace id? Also what happens if you run on a catalog
ALTER CATALOG [catalog_name] {ENABLE | DISABLE} PREDICTIVE OPTIMIZATION;

My workspace id is, 3976272202403488 .It gives this error,
UnityCatalogServiceException: [RequestId=693c0119-f759-953e-b7a8-7ed2271b7849 ErrorClass=INVALID_PARAMETER_VALUE.PREDICTIVE_OPTIMIZATION_DISABLED_CONSTRAINT] Cannot set predictive optimization field because predictive optimization is disabled on the metastore.

Got it, after reviewing your workspace I can notice that it is GCP workspace located in europe-west3, as of now Predictive Optimization is not supported on GCP side, there are few regions that are set to be enabled by end of Q4 but unfortunately the region you are located is not part of this list as this region still not have all the requirements available at the cloud level to support it.
