Git Integration: selective check-in not working

lawrence009
Contributor

We started noticing the problem about 3 weeks ago. Databricks' Git GUI fails to commit only the selected files. All the files that have been modified, added or removed since that last commit will get checked in even if it de-selected in the GUI.

Has anyone else been experiencing this problem?

Hi @Lawrence Chenโ€‹ verify if multiple repos are not working on the same branch in Databricks. Make sure there are no changes made to these notebooks from outside databricks.

Hi @Vivian Wilfredโ€‹ Nothing of the sorts as you suggested.

Hi, could you please provide a small video or a screenshot on the same?

Also please tag @Debayanโ€‹ with your next response which will notify me, Thank you!

@Debayan Mukherjeeโ€‹ As request, please see the screenshot below. N.b. The unchecked items will be committed. I strongly suspect there was bug recently introduced how the UI works.3F0C1FA5-EC30-4717-8233-F3D2694D372D
