Where can I find API documentation to dbutils.notebook.entry_point?

JamesKuo

dbutils.notebook.help only lists "run" and "exit" methods. I could only find references to dbutils.notebook.entry_point spread across the web but there does not seem to be an official Databricks API documentation to its complete APIs anywhere. Can someone please point me to the right location?

Thanks.

Hi @James kuo, It is officially unsupported, though we have one example:- https://docs.databricks.com/notebooks/testing.html#run-unit-tests.

Follow-up question, within a notebook, how to retrieve metadata of the current run (similar to response from Job API /2.1/jobs/runs/get)? I'd like to get statuses, runtime metrics, etc.

Thanks.
