I’m currently working with the new Synthetic Data Generation API in Mosaic AI, and I’ve encountered an issue when trying to generate questions for a document. Specifically, I’m running into the following error:
Failed to generate questions for doc https://spark.apache.org/docs/3.5.2/: 403 Client Error: Forbidden {"error_code":"PERMISSION_DENIED","message":"Managed evals is unavailable for region westus2."}.
Following this notebook as a guideline: https://docs.databricks.com/_extras/notebooks/source/generative-ai/synthetic-evals-notebook.html and I have enabled Synthetic Agent Evaluation in Previews, but the error persists.
Has anyone else faced this issue, particularly with the westus2 region? Any suggestions on how to resolve it or if there are additional configurations I might be missing?
