Welcome to the Databricks Community, @maycol25!

If youโ€™re just getting started with Databricks, a great place to begin is Databricks Customer Academy, where you can explore courses based on the area youโ€™re interested in, such as Data Engineering, Generative AI, Machine Learning, and more.

As a starting point, Iโ€™d recommend taking the Databricks Fundamentals course, which is available in multiple languages, to build an understanding of the Databricks platform before moving into a specific learning path.

You can also explore the Databricks Training Catalog to find courses based on your area of interest.

Also, Databricks offers different versions of its courses. If you choose the free self-paced courses, please note that they do not include hands-on labs. If youโ€™d like to practice with the labs, you can either:

  • Enroll in an Instructor-Led Training (ILT) course โ€“ This provides access to the hands-on labs for seven days.
  • Get a Databricks Academy Labs subscription (Databricks Academy โ†’ Subscription Plans โ†’ Databricks Academy Labs) โ€“ This is a great option for long-term learning, as it provides one year of access to both the labs and the self-paced courses included in the subscription.

For personal learning and practice, you can also use Databricks Free Edition. Please note that Free Edition does not include the guided labs used in the courses.

Hope this helps you get started, and happy learning!
