Could you please clarify the 'start fresh' rule for the event?

I accidentally opened Module 1 and went through just two slides before the event began. If I complete the rest of the module now during the event, will it count? Or am I ineligible because I opened it early, meaning I need to create a new email ID to participate

There are two units common in most of the modules, if you complete them in any module, it will reflects completed in each module. So no need to worry for that thing.

One Another thing related to 'start fresh', we have to complete any fresh or incomplete module in this timline and generate the badge/certificate by passing test for that module within this 15 june - 6 july timeline to eligible for discount voucher.
