After finishing the lesson, answer any questions provided. Then, don’t click "Next Lesson". Instead, click the X button next to it and wait a few seconds. The lesson should automatically be marked as Completed.

I'm working through the data-ingestion-with-lakeflow-connect course but the text based modules are not marking as complete after i have gone through the content? any ideas on how to mark these as complete?

Simply Exit the Lesson View, by clicking the Cross on the Top Right side, and then you will see a Un-expand button, click on that as well, that should do it!

I had the same issue. Just stay in this section for a few minutes, and it should recognize it as completed. Or, try going back to the previous section and then moving to the next section more quickly.

Also, when you finish this course, I strongly recommend clicking the "X" icon. After that, it will be marked as completed.

How do I access the lab for the Associate Data Engineering track ? I do see only the reading material and the demo videos.

You need to have the Vocareum lab subscription to follow on with the same dataset used in the lab. All the Data Engineering lab as far as I know, can be completed on the Databricks Free Edition. Alternatively, create a simple JSON/CSV file based on the schema and upload the files into a volume. That's it. You want to learn the concept and be comfortable navigating the platform.

No. Each learner is only eligible to receive one 50% discount voucher and one 20% discount coupon for Databricks Academy Labs, whether the learner completes one or multiple learning pathways. For example, if you complete both the Data Analyst and Associate Data Engineering learning pathways, you will be eligible for one 50% discount certification voucher and one 20% discount coupon for Databricks Academy Labs.
