I am currently preparing for the Databricks Certified Data Engineer Associate exam and have a few logistical questions about the training modules and the exam voucher. I would appreciate any guidance from those who have been through the process:

Unused Vouchers: If I am issued an exam voucher but do not use it, is it possible to request a replacement or have it re-issued later?
Voucher Expiry and Scheduling: How can I check the exact expiration date of my voucher? Additionally, am I permitted to schedule and take the exam on the very last day of its validity period?
Mandatory Course Materials: To officially complete the training pathway, is it strictly required to watch every single video across all modules? If not, what are the absolute mandatory items (like quizzes or practical labs) that must be completed?

Hello Zyed, please see responses to your questions below:

1. No, unfortunately, you'll need to use the voucher before its expiry date. No replacement will be provided if you fail to use it prior to the expiry date.

2. All vouchers will expire on 08 July 2026.

3. You must complete all elements of the course materiel - including the module introductions, videos and quizzes in order for the module to be logged as completed. All elements are mandatory.

If I finish two learning paths, will I receive two discount vouchers, or only one for the first learning path I complete?

just wanted to know if I complete module ASSOCIATE DATA ENGINEERING and PROFESSIONAL DATA ENGINEERING, will I get different vouchers for both or just one?

Hi there!

I joined the Learning Festival back in December but failed the exam. Can I try again in this new edition?

If so, do I need to go through the same courses again, or does my previous progress count toward the new voucher?

Please note that you'll need to complete an alternative learning pathway for the first time during this event to qualify for the incentives. Please note, the vouchers can be applied to any certification exam if you'd like to attempt the certification again.

I attended the recent Self-Paced Learning Festival (January 9–30, 2026), but I did not receive any voucher. Could you please confirm if I am eligible to participate again and whether I would be able to receive a voucher this time?

You can verify your participation in the My Activities > Courses section in the user menu at the top left of Customer Academy.

Assuming all modules within the learning pathway are listed as completed (with at least one of these completed during the event), then you'll receive the incentive on April 09.

Is there any way to get the notebooks within the lessons? For practice since the self paced pathway does not come with labs?

please note the notebooks are exclusively available through the Databricks Academy Labs subscription.

Thank you for this opportunity again. I have completed the Data Warehousing Practitioner Pathway. I had previously completed 2 modules and I completed the last module during the event window. I'll keep an eye for the voucher.
