i cannot find that
It appears there's no separate path for Associate Data Engineering -Here's the link for a complete Data Engineering that combines the Associate DE & Professional DE: https://customer-academy.databricks.com/learn/learning-plans/10/data-engineer-learning-plan
However, if you choose to stick with Associate DE, then follow through with the prescribed courses by Databricks as follows:
Data Ingestion with Lakeflow Connect
Deploy Workloads with Lakeflow Jobs
Build Data Pipelines with Lakeflow Declarative Pipelines
DevOps Essentials for Data Engineering
The enrolment links are listed next to each learning pathway within the table of the original post
Do we need to wait till the event completed to get the incentives emailed? or will be shared as soon as the learning path is completed, Incentives will be shared by DB team ?
I am pretty sure they said it will be made available on Feb 6th, but feel free to correct me
All vouchers will be distributed on Feb 06
how to access the labs to perform the labs exercise
Hands on labs are not included within the self paced initiative. We’ll be providing a 20% discount on the Databricks Academy Labs subscription to participants on Feb 06
Hi. I have completed all the learning paths before the event started. In the course module, it shows that I have already completed them. I also read in the comments that eligibility for the voucher is if the modules are completed during the event window. Is there any solution for my situation? If I retake the course during the event period, will I be eligible for the voucher?
I also completed the entire learning path before the event, totaling 27 completed courses.
Is there any way for me to obtain the voucher?
Unfortunately not. You could create a new account and complete one of the learning pathways with an alternative email
I completed all the courses in the learning path before the event started. Would I still be eligible to receive the discounted voucher in this case?
If so, could you please advise on how I should proceed?
https://customer-academy.databricks.com/legacy/lms/index.php%3Fr%3DmyActivities/index
Otherwise, would I need to create a new account with a different email address and retake the courses during the event period?
The only solution would be to create an alternative account
I have completed the ASSOCIATE DATA ENGINEERING learning path. please see image below
in earlier instructions to other users you mentioned checking "My Transcript" to check whether the modules are complete but I do not see this anywhere.
Can you advice where to look and can you confirm if this is sufficient to receive the voucher?
It looks like the screenshot is from the transcripts page. To confirm, this is sufficient to meet the qualification criteria.
Hey Databricks Fam!🖖🏻
I’m elated to share that I’ve just finished Learning Pathway 1: Associate Data Engineering ✨
Onto the next one🙂
Happy learning, everyone!🌻
Congratulations! I hope you enjoyed the course
Hi Jim,
1) Please please please get a FAQ going for this conversation. It is tired to see the same questions being asked over and over again by people who could be bothered to go through the conversation. A FAQ would hopefully reduce all this repetition.
2) I have completed viewing the training material for DE Assoc. One very huge frustration is the multitude of clickable links in the slides and course videos, that are of course not clickable to us. The frustration is that the actual underlying URL could have been provided as text in the slides/videos, but are not. So we cannot even OCR the URL and manyally enter into a browser. I think this is a big issue for this method of training, and I actually have reported this before to an instructor when I was still at a partner.
