I earned my Databricks Fundamentals and Data Engineer Associate last and this year in that order. I followed the courses provided through the learning portal, although the videos cover the basics I needed to find use cases in order to understand beter Unity Catalog concepts, the core idea and application of DLT (Delta Live Tables) and the difference of what DB means with Pipelines compared to ADF, Synpase of Fabric pipelines.

My goal for next year is to obtain the Data Engineer Professional. For that I'm understanding better the metadata management strategy within Unity Catalog to create dashboards. Also the Spark UI logging to a beter troubleshooting when it comes to performance and DABS application for testing as part of Software development with CI/CD.
