Monthly Recap • July 2026
Community Fellows
If you're new here: the Community Fellows are Databricks employees who volunteer their expertise in the Community forums, helping customers solve real problems.
July closed out the quarter with the Fellows firing on all fronts – showing up in the forums, earning their perks, and setting the tone for what's ahead. It was also a month of big-picture thinking: the steering committee doubled down on new initiatives to grow the program and the team.
The energy this month wasn't just about answering questions – it was about building what comes next.
📊 July by the Numbers
Even in a heads-down month, the Fellows kept the technical forums moving and the customers unblocked.

🧭 Behind the Scenes: Planning What's Next
July was all about thinking big – and the biggest news is the launch of the Community Fellows UKI Pilot.
🚀 Launching: The Community Fellows UKI Pilot
It brings the Fellows program to a whole new region: for one quarter, SAs across the UK & Ireland will answer customer questions and create technical content on the Databricks Community – earning points and recognition the same way the rest of the Fellows do. It's how we test taking the program beyond its original crew.
This one didn't just happen – the Fellows Steering Committee was hands-on all month, shaping how the pilot would work;

The result: a clear, ready-to-go pilot for SAs across the UK & Ireland. Curious or want in? Come say hi in #community-fellows-program on Slack. 🚀
📊 We Need Your Help
We've noticed things have been a little quieter these past few months – and that's okay, life gets busy! But we'd genuinely love to see more of you back in the community.
Every single answer you share makes a real difference: it helps a customer who's stuck, lifts the whole community, and puts our expertise exactly where it counts. If you've got a spare moment, jump back in – we'd love to have you. 💛
Thank You, Fellows 🙏
To every Fellow who showed up in July – in the forums, in the planning, and in all the work that doesn't fit neatly on a leaderboard, THANK YOU. The steady months matter just as much as the loud ones, and this program is what it is because of you.
