Today is Community Manager Appreciation Day, celebrated every year on the fourth Monday of January, a tradition started in 2010.
And I want to use it to shine a big, sparkly spotlight on my fellow Databricks Community Managers who and make the whole place feel like a living, breathing brain trust instead of “yet another website.”
@Sujitha the steady engine. The one who knows how all the sausage is made, keeps all our content work humming, and raises the bar constantly. She's also our unofficial Databricks Community Historian!
@Rishabh_Tiwari , our builder and metrics man. He always goes the extra mile and makes sure that our team is supported through thick and thin.
@Advika , our force multiplier. The details, the follow-through, the “yes, and I already tracked it” magic that keeps the machine humming.
Also, a genuine thank you to everyone who asks questions, shares answers, writes posts, and shows up with curiosity. You’re the reason we do this at all. Keep coming back, keep helping each other, and keep making our community the place you trust when you’re learning, building, and getting unstuck.
Happy Community Manager Appreciation Day 2026!

Huge thanks, @MandyR, for uplifting the team and being a powerhouse of energy and ideas.😎
I genuinely love being part of the Databricks Community – the team, the people, the energy. It’s more than a platform; it’s a virtual home we all show up to every day 💛.

Thanks so much, @MandyR. That really means a lot.
Huge appreciation for the entire team here, the work we do only works because it’s truly collaborative. I’m grateful to be building this community with such thoughtful, driven people, and even more grateful for our members who show up every day with questions, answers, and curiosity. That’s what makes this place matter. ✌🏻
