Can't schedule Databricks Certified Data Engineer Professional exam – payment page won't load

I’m already a Databricks Certified Data Engineer Associate and had no issues using the Webassessor/Kryterion platform in the past. But since July 22nd, I’ve been trying to schedule the Databricks Certified Data Engineer Professional exam and simply can't get past the payment page — it stays stuck loading until the shopping cart expires.

I’ve tried everything I can think of:

  • Clearing cache and cookies

  • Using different browsers

  • Trying on other computers, phones, and even other internet connections

  • Creating a brand-new account

  • Having friends try from their accounts

One friend was able to reach the payment page, but others weren’t. Another friend created a new account and also couldn’t get through — just like me.

I contacted Kryterion support, but they keep giving me generic troubleshooting steps as if the issue is on my end. Eventually, they told me to contact Databricks support. Then, Databricks support told me to contact Kryterion again. So I’m stuck in this support loop, and neither side seems willing or able to help.

At this point, I suspect something might be wrong with my account, but I'm out of ideas. Has anyone experienced something similar? Any advice on what I could try next?

I am facing similar issue myself, I have an upcoming exam for Data Engineer Professional on 5th July and I want to postpone but cant see any future dates available, have raised an issue with databricks. Did they resolve your issue?

After I've tried everything, a colleague who was able to schedule their exam let me schedule mine acessing their device remotely. As they live in another region, and other friends on my region weren't able to schedule, I believe that is some type of bugged region lock that the Kryterion are not aware of.

My problem was specific for the payment page. After I scheduled it, I was able to access and do the test on my computer normally.

same issues here. the exam schedule stops on payment loading.

I can't schedule also same issue here as well. Kindly fix as soon as possible.
