Databricks Professional certification 2025

I plan to take the Professional Exam. Since the certification was updated on September 30, I would like to know the details โ€” specifically the course content,  how long this version of the course will remain valid (given that the course content is updated quite frequently). Any other details, I should be knowing. Thanks

Hi @shilpimishra ,

You can find current exam objectives at below link:

https://www.databricks.com/sites/default/files/2025-09/databricks-certified-data-engineer-profession...

Regarding how long this version of exam will be valid - no one knows. They can change content at any time, given how many new thing databricks release.

But one thing you can be sure. Before any change they will announce it and you can always find current exam objectives at below place:

https://www.databricks.com/learn/certification/data-engineer-professional

And for preparations I recommended to use Databricks Academy. Specifically data engineering learning path.
