We have some fantastic news to share with you! In the coming week, we will be launching a fully revamped Databricks Community, aiming to enhance your overall experience and introduce exciting new content and features that will empower you to achieve even greater success.
Alongside the exciting new Community experience, we are thrilled to introduce a new recognition system that will improve how we recognize and celebrate our engaged and knowledgeable users.
We are saying goodbye to the current points-based system, and hello to an era of badges for different categories of participation and expertise!
Our new recognition system will acknowledge and honor users who actively contribute to our Community by asking and answering questions, sharing experiences, and collaborating with fellow members. By actively participating in discussions, sharing valuable insights, and assisting others, you will have the opportunity to earn badges that showcase your expertise and contributions. These badges will be prominently displayed on your profile, signifying your impact on the Databricks Community. As you continue to engage and provide value, you will progress through higher ranks, further highlighting your influence.
If you currently have accumulated points and would like to use them, we invite you to visit the Databricks Community Rewards Store before July 14, 2023. And that's not all! We have recently added Databricks Certification vouchers to our Rewards Store, allowing you to redeem them for a 25% discount on any certification. - Last day we will be issuing points on Databricks Community
- All points earned up until this point will be recognized and honored at the Databricks Community Rewards Store

July 14, 2023:
- Last day to use points to redeem rewards at the Databricks Community Rewards Store
- We will also be temporarily closing the Rewards Store for updating.

In order to ensure we comprehensively migrate all users and content to our revamped Community experience, please note that Databricks Community will go into read-only mode from June 24 - June 26, 2023.
