Dear @cert-ops team,
I am formally requesting that this matter be escalated to senior management for an independent review.
Your response advises me to contact Kryterion Chat Support if I experienced difficulties launching the exam. However, I already contacted Kryterion and have attached the complete chat history as evidence. Kryterion redirected me back to Databricks Support. It is therefore unacceptable to refer me again to Kryterion and close my ticket without reviewing the evidence or providing a resolution.
The exam was not missed due to negligence or a failure to attend. I was present and attempted to complete the required process, but technical and proctoring-related issues prevented the exam from being launched successfully. The attempt was consumed even though I was unable to begin the actual exam.
I have also seen similar experiences reported by multiple certification candidates, involving consumed exam attempts, repeated redirection between support teams, and requests to pay again without a satisfactory investigation. This raises a serious concern that the handling of such cases may reflect a recurring practice rather than an isolated incident. I respectfully request that management examine whether there is a broader issue affecting candidates.
Asking me to purchase another exam or obtain a new voucher from my organization does not address the original problem. I should not be required to pay the substantial examination fee again for an attempt that I could not use because of circumstances outside my control.
I am requesting the following:
- Reopen tickets 00980932 and 00979076 and escalate the case to senior management.
- Review the attached Kryterion chat history and the complete technical and proctoring records.
- Reinstate my original exam attempt or issue a replacement voucher at no additional cost.
- Investigate whether other candidates have experienced the same recurring problem.
- Provide a clear written explanation if this request is denied, including the specific evidence and policy relied upon.
Simply closing repeated tickets and directing me between Databricks and Kryterion, without either party accepting responsibility, is extremely disappointing. This experience has seriously affected my confidence in the fairness and transparency of the Databricks certification process and discourages me from pursuing future Databricks certifications.
Please do not close this ticket with another standard response. I expect a substantive review by a senior representative and a fair resolution.
