Dear Databricks Certification Team,
I am writing regarding my scheduled exam:
Assessment Name: Databricks Certified Data Engineer Professional
Date: 18 April 2026
Time: 14:00
Duration: 120 minutes
I was present and ready at the scheduled time; however, I was unable to launch the exam due to a technical issue on my Ubuntu system. The secure browser (Respondus LockDown Browser) failed to start despite multiple attempts, including trying with Wine. I encountered system-level errors that prevented the exam from launching.
This was not an intentional absence. The issue appears to be related to compatibility limitations with Linux/Ubuntu environments.
Given that I made a genuine attempt to attend the exam and the issue was purely technical, I kindly request a waiver of the $53 rescheduling fee and permission to reschedule the exam at no additional cost.
I am happy to provide error screenshots or logs if required.
