Hello

How to participate in "Solutions Architect Essentials Badge" - I would like to become champion, I have completed all other steps - however - I cannot find place to start the course - what to do ?

Hi,
Have you been officially nominated and accepted into the program? This is an essential step; the course is only offered to program candidates, so it is not visible in the Partner Academy by default.

If you are not aligned with a Partner Solutions Architect at Databricks, and do not have a Partner CoE or another Partner Champion in your organization to connect you with the right person at Databricks, please reach out to partners@databricks.com with details including your current employer, any details you have regarding the prerequisites for the program which can be found in the program guide on the Partner Portal here. https://partners.databricks.com/s/databricks-partner-champions-program.

Thank you so much for answer, I did contact mentioned e-mail, and I was informed by Vanessa - that my case is on a right track, I was unaware that firstly someone needs to nominate me as ... we do not have yet Databricks Champions in our company yet - so that (as you mentioned) that needs to come from directly Partner Solutions Architect at Databricks.

Are you aware how much that process is taking ? One of my certificates (associate) expires by end of April - and I don't know should I focus on refreshing it - or if I have already submitted my request for being included in the Champion program - that's enough

Hi @piotrsofts , I have re-directed the inquiry in email to the team in EMEA.  One thing to double check is that your organization meets the program requirement in EMEA as being a Select Tier partner.  Apologies for the delay.  If you do not hear this week please feel free to follow up.

Please connect with your PSA from databricks side who will get you enrolled in SA Essentials training. Post completion of instructor led training which is of 3 days you will receive the badge (post completion of assignments during the training).
