How to Enable Features in Data bricks to explicitly opt-in
As a Databricks user, sometimes we may want to use account features that are supported for all workspaces under that account.
once we enable them, then users from workspaces will be able to use them by configuring few more steps workspace level
e.g.: Serverless compute, Personal Compute, Web terminal etc.
login to account console https://accounts.cloud.databricks.com/
Go to settings on Left of your screen
- Click on Feature Enablement
- Click on Enable
once after you enable required feature, then you can start using that feature in workspace level (for few of them we may need to config few more settings in workspace level depends on type of feature we select)
