How come I can't see 'Databricks SQL' in my portal? Only 'Data Science & engineering' and 'Machine Learning'

Hi @geert vanhove ,

Databricks SQL is not available in the standard tier on Azure. (https://www.databricks.com/product/azure-pricing)

Using a premium workspace will make Databricks SQL appears.

Hi @geert vanhove , Could you please confirm if you are using E2 architecture (https://docs.databricks.com/getting-started/overview.html#e2-architecture) or is it a single tenant shard?

I guess this is a single tenant shard, it's just a develop/test environment.

FYI: We are using Azure databricks.
