I want to migrate my data as well as the transformations i have to convert my raw data into BI data. Is there a way i can move those transformation to databricks? Some of the transformations use native snowflake functions.
Thanks in advance.

Hi,
There are various migration steps documented / even discussed in this year Databricks tech summit, pls see
https://www.databricks.com/solutions/migration
Also, you can leverage Databricks AI assistant to some extent to convert the transformations easily where ever possible.

Before doing the migration, ensure to have an impact analysis on the functionality of snowflake ( in particular any functions developed for the requirement) with Databricks. Ideally you have to plan for data and process migration with priority on use case. The video link shared by Sathya is really good and can be a starting point.

When you migrate data and transformations, we map the data to delta lake and transformations into spark sql notebooks.
