Migration of all Databricks SQL content to the workspace browser
- Databricks will force-migrate all Databricks SQL content (dashboards, queries, alerts) to the workspace browser.
- Visit My Queries, My Alerts, and My Dashboards and look for any un-migrated queries, alerts, or dashboards, which will have a checkbox on the lefthand side.
- When a box is checked, a Migrate button will appear that allows you to migrate multiple assets at a time.
- If no action is taken, your Databricks SQL content (dashboards, queries, alerts) will be moved to your user folder.
- Admins should ensure that all objects without a valid active owner are updated to have one.
- Starting on September 10, 2023, all unmigrated objects without a valid owner will be deleted.

The ability to easily migrate queries and dashboards across Databricks Workspace it extremely important.
In my company we have dev, stg and production workspaces, with same pipeline creating the data.
We create our dashboards in DEV and then we have to redo MANUALLY in staging and production workspace!
Now it has been released that Databricks will enforce to save the queries in the Shared folder and not in repos anymore.
See https://docs.databricks.com/en/workspace/workspace-browser/index.html#migrate-objects
Not been able to save the queries in a version control or able to migrate dashboards across environments is such a bad move of Databricks, it is basically forcing us to use another tool such as Tableau or Power BI.
Is there any place I can raise a ticket or a request to allow queries and dashboards to be in repos and ability to migrate them across different workspaces?
Or how do you expect us (customers) to sync dashboards and queries across different workspaces?

I had the same issue, and I was going to move my queries today and ran into the "Cannot move queries object into a repo" https://community.databricks.com/t5/community-discussions/roadmap-on-export-menu-option-for-sql-quer...
