Not able to find the DBAcademyDLT policy to create the DLT Pipeline

Hi,

Greetings of the day, I am preparing for the Databricks Engineering Associate Certification and following the Databricks Academy V3 course. As part of this course, trying to create the DLT pipelines but couldn't able to see the DBAcademyDLT policy while creating pipeline.

I was trying to run the Workspace-Setup script but getting below error while running the Instance Pool ID creation:

DatabricksApiException: DatabricksApiException(message='ACLs for instance-pool are disabled or not available in this tier', http_code=404, http_exception=HTTPError("404 Client Error: Not Found for url: https://westus.azuredatabricks.net/api/2.0/permissions/instance-pools/0108-153257-basin90-pool-91r98...n Response from server: \n { 'error_code': 'FEATURE_DISABLED',\n 'message': 'ACLs for instance-pool are disabled or not available in this '\n 'tier'}"))

can someone please let me know how to resolve this issue and proceed with my learning....

Thanks in advance

Regards,

Suresh Kumar

Hi @SureshKumarDV ,

Looks like I'm facing the same issue. Were you able to resolve it?

I had to go to Admin Settings > Advanced (Workspace settings) and enable "Cluster, Pool and Jobs Access Control". Afterwards I was able to create an instance pool.
