Hi Team,
We are doing an analysis on SAP Business object to connect with databricks and built a report on top of the data in the data lakehouse. In our current architecture we have delta tables on top of S3 storage. Please let us know any connectors/drivers can be used by SAP business object to connect with databricks and pull the data for reporting.

If you can install the odbc drivers for databricks, you can create an odbc connection to the tables.
We do this with an old tool like SSRS, so I am pretty sure BO is also able to pull this off.

Thank you for the response. Look like my on-shore team(USA) contacted Databricks tech team and they have planned for a demo.

Just a friendly reminder to post any updates on this thread. We are trying to connect SAP BO to Azure Databricks and notable to do it using JDBS/ODBA, hence the enquiry.

Hi @Mutharasu - Yes we have worked on this and able to successfully establish connectivity between BO and databricks using ODBC DSN connection. Simba Spark drivers needs to be installed. You need Auth token and Azure data source details like HTTP Path, Host, Port, to create DSN connection.

Could you please share the screenshot of the settings or process of setting this up? We are using BOBJ 4.2 SP9.

Hi @HB83 , Can I know which version of BO are you using? We have a similar requirement.
