I create a cluster or a pool with the runtime version 12.2 LTS or even with the latest 13.0

According to the documentation the worker should use an image. with Ubuntu 20.04

https://docs.databricks.com/release-notes/runtime/12.2.html#system-environment

But actually the end-of-life ubuntu 18.04 is used. Any idea what's wrong ?

In the AWS ec2 console i see that the worker are using the image ID ami-0ea2c19e79de11215 , the image name is databricks-worker-ubuntu-2023-02-27T14-34-17.

I even checked in the SSH shell. It's really old ubuntu 18.04.

I would be happy to do it but seems it's almost impossible to reach the Databricks support 😞
