hi,
I would like to seek response to my following questions regarding Unity Catalog Metastore's path.
While configuring metastore, designating a metastore storage account (in case of Azure, it's ADLS Gen2) seems to be an optional thing. In case I configured a storage container for metastore, will it store all its metadata (table name, schema, permissions etc) into the storage container or it stores all those metadata details into a metastore database inside Databricks control plane?

The storage container you configure for the metastore will contain the files of managed tables and volumes. The metadata is stored in a database of the Databricks control plane.

Is this chat concept the same for Databricks registered through AWS Marketplace?
Where is the database for the Databricks control plane?
Do you mean the information schema in the system catalog?
