Some time in the past few weeks I think there was an update to databricks workflows. Previously you could:
I can no longer find these drop downs though. They've disappeared from most of the UI. Actually, I can briefly see it for a split second before the page does some sort of refresh and then it disappears. This is extremely frustrating as I'm having trouble referencing issues after a repaired run and having discussions with my team mate about it.
I actually managed to get a screenshot just now in the split second before the page refreshes. Here I can see that drop down bar for that split second:
And here is the page after it refreshes and disappears:

@kenmyers-8451 I think you should be able to access your job runs, repair the runs, and filter on job(s) by status as follows:
Repair:
Also: Filter by job + type:
I noticed in your screenshot that you have a setting enabled. I've highlighted this in the picture below. Had you previously not had this enabled? Not sure that makes the difference though. Worth a shout! ☺️
All the best,

@BS_THE_ANALYST thanks for the reply but I think you misunderstand me. I don't want to repair the run, I want to see the run from before I ran the latest repair. In the screenshot below, the run from september 15th is yesterdays run and we did "repair" it already (hence "Repair 2" in the drop down in my original message) but I can't navigate to the first run anymore. I can only view the latest run.
your second screenshot also doesn't get me what I need, I click on my failed job in there and it just brings me to the screenshot above.
Regarding the lakeflow jobs UI button, I tried that before making my first post and it makes no difference, it does not bring the drop down back:
I know there are prior runs before the latest repair. You can see it in my initial post. I used to be able to access this dropdown box and quickly navigate to a previous attempts. And I don't mean a totally separate run, I mean the previous failures in the same run. It's just inaccessible now, but still seems to exist since I can see it for a brief second. If I could access this I'd be able to click something like "Repair 0" (not sure it is called that), "Repair 1", or "Repair 2"

Hi @kenmyers-8451 ,
This is a bug. I've noticed the exact same thing on my environment. Repair runs appears for split second and then disappear. @Advika , would be so kind and inform product team about this issue?

Thanks for looping me in, @szymon_dybczak. I tested this on my end, and it seems to be working as expected. Still, I’ll flag it internally for further review. In the meantime, @kenmyers-8451 could you also try clearing your browser cache and let us know if the problem persists on your side?

Hey @kenmyers-8451 ,
I just tried repairing a run for one of the sample jobs, and I see all the prior repair runs .

@szymon_dybczak did you see this post yesterday about Choropleth maps not working?: https://community.databricks.com/t5/warehousing-analytics/choropleth-maps-stopped-working/td-p/13199...
I wonder if a similar fix can happen for this situation, as it could be browser-related
Could you also try opening Databricks in a different browser? Not that this is a proper solution 😊.
All the best,
BS

Thanks for suggestion @BS_THE_ANALYST. In my case I've used Edge and unfortunately it didn't help. I also cleared web site related data and cookike.
@kenmyers-8451 ,could you try to test it on your side?

@szymon_dybczak @Advika Sorry for the late reply, I was OOO the last few days for health reasons and just got back today. I tried again today both before and after clearing my cache and I'm still seeing the issue. I also tried a different browser (I've been on chrome, tried safari) and still getting the issue there as well (can see the dropdown for a split second before it disappears). Let me know if theres anything else I can check for you.

I am a Databricks Admin in the workspace that @kenmyers-8451 is having problems in and I am getting the same issue where the retries show up for a brief second but then redirect/refresh and then the retries disappear.
This seems to happen when the workflow has tasks that are calling other jobs (so jobs calling other jobs, so a bit more complex), but seems to not happen when the job is more simple like only calling a notebook job.
