We are setting up Databricks on our AWS account using customer managed VPC and enabling private link. I could see the private endpoints for frontend and backend with which we could spin up our EC2 instances. But the problem we are facing is to connect internal RDS metastore which is public facing. Since we have a lot of restrictions enabling public network, Is there a way you could create a similar service endpoint for same? Since RDS supports Private endpoints now.
I know there is an external metastore we can host but we don't want to manage this extra metastore rather would like to use the internal HIVE metastore hosted by databricks. Is there a possible we could get RDS hive metastore private endpoints similar like workspace & SCC Relay region specific endpoints?
