Missing Example Notebooks for Professional Data Engineering Learning Path

I’m currently going through the Professional Data Engineering learning path, and I noticed that some of the demo videos (for example, in the Databricks Streaming and Lakeflow Declarative Pipelines module) reference notebooks like “SDLT 1.1 reading from a streaming query.”

I haven’t been able to find these notebooks in the course materials — does anyone know where they can be accessed or downloaded?

It sounds like you’re currently going through the Data engineering learning plan. These learning plan modules are free, self-paced and don’t include hands-on labs.

To access the lab materials mentioned in the videos, you can:

• Enroll in an Instructor-Led Training (ILT) – Enroll in Advanced Data Engineering with Databricks, which includes hands-on labs and provides 7-day access.
• Get a Databricks Academy Labs subscription – This is a great option for long-term access. It includes lab materials for all the courses mentioned in the learning plan, along with many other self-paced courses, available for an entire year.
