Image to text is not currently available as a native model in Databricks, but we did recently release Shutterstock ImageAI, powered by Databricks for text to image capabilities. To learn more about that, please see the related blog post from June.
If you need image to text in terms of text extraction or OCR, there are a number of great open source options such as PyTesseract that can easily be implemented on Databricks. If you're looking for something that will do image captioning, there are similarly good open source options x-modaler and Microsoft's CaptionBot.ai
