Hi Databricks Community,
I am Ragini, a fresher AI/ML developer from Vadodara, India. I am reaching out honestly because I need help with the exam fee for the Databricks Certified Data Engineer Professional certification.
During my internship at StellarMind.AI, I worked on Databricks daily — building data transformation pipelines, AI agents using LangChain and RAG, and deploying PySpark workflows. My company encouraged me to prepare for this certification and promised full-time employment after 3 months.
After those 3 months they did not hire me. I had already spent over ₹50,000 on relocation and living costs. My family of four survives on ₹10,000 per month. My father is currently hospitalised and we are going through a very difficult time financially.
Despite all of this I have not stopped preparing. I am ready for this exam. The fee is the only thing stopping me.
I am not asking for a shortcut. I have done the work. I just cannot afford the fee right now.
If anyone here knows of:
A hardship voucher or scholarship program
A sponsored exam seat
The July 2026 Learning Festival free voucher process
Any other way to get fee assistance
I would be truly grateful for any guidance.
