I would like to understand what constitutes a course introduction section. For example, if I'm interested in the Generative AI Engineering pathway, what other modules do I need to complete other than the 4 modules stated? Thank you 🙂

It's purely the 4 modules stated - the statement referenced above is in relation to all of the elements of course materiel within each of these modules. Please ensure all elements are completed, including any of the intoductory sections, to ensure the modules are marked as completed. 

You can verify if this is completed with the tick marks that will appear next to each element title within the navigation bar on the left hand side once the module is completed

I actually finished the Generative AI Engineering during the last Learning Festival (I think it was November 2025), but didn't get any vouchers whatsoever.

I started with my PATHWAY and course contents are really helpful. Is there any lab access for practicing the same? that would be really helpful

Hi @Bhavaniprasanna. If your company is Databricks partners, then you can use your company's email address to register for https://partner-academy.databricks.com/. You'll have to connect with the Learning and Development Team / you Manager to make sure to register using correct creentials.

This partner databricks academy will give you access to the practice labs. This great if you want to get hands-on practice.

But if you want vouchers as well, then you'll have complete the courses on https://customer-academy.databricks.com/.

I'd suggest you take up the same learning path on the both the academies, partner (for hand-on practice) and customer (to get vouchers). I hope this helps.

I already finished Pathway 1 in November 2025. When I access the Qualification Criteria links, a pop-up appears saying, “Good job. The course was finished.”
I also see an option to retake the course.
Do I need to retake it in order to be eligible for the 50% discount?

No, please note you cannot revisit previously completed content as we only log the initial date a course is completed. please complete an alternative learning pathway before 30 January to qualify

My intention at this moment is to take the Associate Data Engineering exam. If I complete the Professional Data Engineering learning path, will I still be able to use the voucher for another exam (Associate Data Engineering)?

Do we have to complete each module to get 50% voucher or If we complete one module we still get the 50% voucher? Can we use same voucher for other certifications. How long the voucher validity will be?

As per the post - each participant is limited to one voucher per event, but can be applied to any Databricks Certification. The vouchers will be valid until 02 May 2026
