AI-Assisted GenAI Development on Databricks: Building an End-to-End Sentiment Classifier
I just published a new blog as part of my ongoing series on AI-assisted GenAI development using the Databricks Free Edition.
In this post, I walk through an end-to-end sentiment classifier built with DSPy, logged and registered as a pyfunc model, and deployed behind a Databricks Model Serving endpoint. The real goal, however, is not sentiment analysis. It is to show how to use AI as a development partner while still learning how real systems are designed, built, and deployed on a modern data and AI platform.
This series is primarily aimed at beginners, students, and early-career professionals who want hands-on experience with Databricks and GenAI using the Free Edition. That said, I absolutely welcome reviews, feedback, and suggestions from experienced practitioners as well. Different perspectives make these examples better and more practical.
