Databricks uses DigiCert as its SSL certificate authority, to establish trust. DigiCert is making a change to its root and intermediate CA certificates (detailed information below). This change will impact Databricks, starting on May 15, 2024. If you use one or more supported browsers or any other client that trusts DigiCert’s new root and intermediate CA certificates, no action is required. For all other clients, you should ensure that you establish trust with the new DigiCert root and intermediate CA certificates. Please see below for information on how to install and manage certificates, how to test that the cert has been installed correctly, and for more information on the DigiCert change.

Testing the change

Once your client trusts Digicert’s new root and intermediate CA certificates, you will be able to connect to this endpoint, with a secure TLS connection: https://nvirginia.staging.cloud.databricks.com/login.html
