My company piloted Databricks and we were all enthusiastic about the experience. At the time I was working on in a fairly isolated on-prem system, so was excited about the ease of connecting with other business domains! I recall the pre-Databricks days where our Data Science teams really struggled with maintenance of clusters, environments, etc. Tools like Unity Catalog have made the experience even better these days, very nice to see this be where majority of our engineers, analysts and data science teams are working.
