Hi,
I've been trying to connect to Databricks (cluster or endpoint) from Mac m1 using the simba odbc connector. I followed the instructions in:
https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/databricks/scenarios/connect-databricks-excel-python-r
https://docs.databricks.com/integrations/bi/jdbc-odbc-bi.html
I cannot connect. Attached are the configuration and error message I'm getting. A colleague tried the same instructions on a Windows computer and had no problems.
Any suggestion?
Thanks

2 things come to mind:
- either the driver is not yet available for ARM (M1 cpu of your mac)
- you have a firewall running on your mac

Hello, @Adalberto Garcia Espinosa. My name is Piper, and I'm a moderator for Databricks. Welcome and thank you for coming to the community with your question. Let's give it a while for the members to respond before we come back. Thanks in advance for your patience. 🙂

are you using latest connector? also, check your firewall setup for the same.
