Metrics are the lifeblood of every business. They help measure performance, track progress, and optimize decision-making. Unfortunately, however, most projects' metrics are buried in code and scattered across different tools and platforms. This makes it hard to define, maintain, and share metrics consistently and accurately.

With the dbt framework, which you can use for databricks, you can have all your metrics in one place, defined in a declarative and version-controlled way, served to any downstream tool or application, and included in the dbt lineage.
