Hi there,
I have questions about the Databricks Machine Learning Associate exam outline. On the official exam webpage [https://www.databricks.com/learn/certification/machine-learning-associate], the outline shows:
1/ Databricks Machine Learning – 38%
2/ ML Workflows – 19%
3/ Model Development – 31%
4/ Model Deployment – 12%
But in the Guild document [https://www.databricks.com/sites/default/files/2025-02/databricks-certified-machine-learning-associa...], the outline is written as:
1/ Databricks Machine Learning
2/ Data Processing
3/ Model Development
4/ Model Deployment
Could you clarify which one is correct? Are the percentages the same, and it’s just that “ML Workflows” has been renamed or replaced with “Data Processing”?
Also, should I just follow the Guild document when preparing? I’ve seen some discussions mentioning topics like Scaling ML Models and Spark ML, but I’m not sure if those are still covered or when the exam was last updated.
Thank you!

Oh, you're right. I was going to say that you can use Databricks Academy Learning Path for machine learning associate exam. It should be aligned with current exam objectives and it's quite good resource to use when preparing for certification 🙂

Hi @stev_dl ,
You should follow Exam Guide document because this is always the place to check current requirements for exam. I think this is small error on their side and probably as you suggested ML Workflows has been renamed with Data Processing.
Also, you can use

Hi, there, sorry for the confusion. The ground truth is always the Exam Guide linked to the exam's main page. That doc is currently: https://www.databricks.com/sites/default/files/2025-02/databricks-certified-machine-learning-associa...
