Hi all,

preparing for my ML Professional Examination. Just wanted to know if the subjects marked "Reference" are still examinable?

This includes the following subjects:

- Streaming

- Alerting

thanks,

Jacob

Just completed an ML Professional exam. Streaming was examined, but alerting was not. This does make sense in the listed in the exam guide (https://www.databricks.com/sites/default/files/2024-05/databricks-certified-machine-learning-profess...).

But this was NOT taught in the machine learning in production (V2) course? No mention was made of it, no video content, and the only notebook available was marked in a "reference" folder. If this is examinable, why is it not covered by the lessons?

@jacob_yap certification exams are not meant to test what you learned in a course, they are designed to measure your professional capacity to perform a job role, We offer an exam guide so that you have guidance for what is on an exam. It is also why we provide recommended experience on each exam webpage for each exam. For the Machine Learning Professional the Recommended experience is 1+ years of hands-on experience performing the machine learning tasks outlined in the exam guide. Please also review the "Getting Ready for your Exam" section where we recommend studying to fill any gaps (things not covered in training but are on the exam)
