Taking exams is so stressful already, and if your exam gets suspended it is extra stressful. Don't worry! Our support team is awesome and will help you get back on track.

The most important step is to file a ticket in our Help Center. Be sure to include the following details in your ticket:

  • Username
  • Exam name

NOTE: Please do not post your exam username publicly, such as here in the community forums, as this is private information.

The process will be faster if you can also offer a couple of dates/times that you are available to resume your exam. Once the support team has you rescheduled, you can log into your test taker account and resume your exam exactly where you left off. For more information please visit Certification FAQ

Subject: Feedback on Exam Experience โ€“ Databricks Certified Generative AI Engineer Associate

Dear Databricks Certification Team,

I hope this message finds you well. I am writing to share my recent experience with the Databricks Certified Generative AI Engineer Associate exam, which I took via the Web Accessor remote proctoring platform. While I was able to successfully complete and pass the exam, I encountered several challenges during the process that I believe are worth reporting to help improve the experience for future candidates.

1. Unexpected Room Check after Exam Start

After completing the initial check-in procedures (excluding the room check), the exam began smoothly. However, shortly after answering the first question, the exam was interrupted, and a pop-up message appeared, indicating that a proctor might contact me, though no explicit reason was provided.

After a period of anxious waiting, the proctor reached out via chat and asked me to show the roomโ€”a step I believe should have been completed before the exam started. Additionally, it was surprising that communication with the proctor was limited to chat only, without voice support. A voice option would help avoid miscommunication and provide clarity in such situations. After complying with the room check, the exam resumed, and I felt relievedโ€”but the surprises didnโ€™t end there.

2. Warning for Adjusting Laptop Connections

During the room check, as required, I disconnected my laptopโ€™s power cord and LAN cable to show the room using the webcam. When the exam resumed, I leaned over briefly to reconnect the cables. Unfortunately, this action triggered another interruption, and I received a warning message from the proctor about my movement. While I understood the need to follow exam protocols, this warning felt frustrating, given that I was merely reconnecting the laptop for practical reasons. However, I chose to focus on the exam rather than argue, prioritizing completion over explanations.

3. Frequent Internet Connection Issues

Throughout the exam, I experienced multiple interruptions due to recurring internet connection error messages, despite using a reliable fiber broadband connection. Approximately every three questions, I encountered pop-ups informing me of an internet issue, asking me to wait up to three minutes or relaunch the exam if the issue persisted. These interruptions were disruptive and stressful, as they happened 10โ€“15 times over the course of the exam. This seemed to be an application-level issue rather than a problem with my internet connection.

Despite these challenges, I managed to remain calm and focus on the exam, avoiding unnecessary movements to prevent further interruptions. However, the frequent disruptions made it difficult to maintain concentration. I even chose to skip the post-exam survey due to concerns that another interruption might occur before seeing the results.

Final Thoughts

While I am pleased with the outcome, I found the process mentally exhausting due to the interruptions and rigid protocols. In my previous experience with other vendors using Web Accessor, I did not encounter these issues. I am sharing this feedback with the hope that it can help improve the exam process for future candidates, ensuring a smoother and less stressful experience.

My exam got suspended due to noise from outside area of office. I was reviewing the marked question before I submit the exam but it suddenly suspended saying that environmental violation and behavioural violation.

I have raised the ticket but didn't received any resolution yet so I request you to please help me to complete my exam as I was about to submit the exam.

It important goal of mine to complete this certification and really disappointed by this.

Please help to complete the certification as i was about to submit the exam to get databricks certified.

Iโ€™m experiencing a similar issue. I was the only person in the house during my exam, so Iโ€™m unsure what might have caused a rule violation. Could you please provide a specific reason for invalidating my test?

Additionally, I would appreciate it if my exam could be rescheduled
